He was 100% polite on Father’s Day when my dad ignored him for an hour (Dad stopped mid-sentence to avoid saying BF’s name).
My boyfriend of seven years just shrugged it off when MY DAD TOOK A PICTURE OF MY BF EATING ALONE IN A RESTAURANT. I was on vacation 1,000 miles away. I would have flipped my shit if his family drove an entire hour to my town and didn’t tell me they were eating in the same restaurant. AND TOOK A PICTURE.
Despite having a rocky relationship, my bf was the only person who sent me a birthday card. And a gift. And purple and gold flowers. <3
